Menswear and 1940s inspired looks

I really like Sonia Rykiel's Resort 2011 Collection. It's something that I'd love to wear (if only I go out a lot).  The playsuit ensembles are so turista-chic! Here are some of my faves:

I really wish I'd get my sewing mojo back. I've collected a lot of delicious photos of clothes I'd love to sew and been meaning to make patterns of! You know what's really nice about knowing how to make patterns? You can copy (if you're really good) most of the clothes you see. But of course I don't want to be a complete copy cat so if ever I'm going to sell my handmade clothes, I'd tweak the designs a bit. I denno. Hmm.. If only I wasn't so lazy at sewing, I could've finished that 1940s inspired collection by now. Hay nako.

Gray polish

Would you believe that I haven't tried on a black nail polish yet? I've always been afraid on how it'll look on my fingernails. Parang hindi rin bagay. Anyway, I saw this and thought that a gray shade would be better. I'm going to look for one in the mall later! I hope they have Opi or Orly or those good brands in Trinoma! I know there's one in SM but I don't have time to go there later.

I am a collector

I like to collect things and I'm beginning to think that anything that involves spending is a vice. So, because I tend to hoard things, I can say that shopping is one of my vices.

One of my favorite things are rings. I went to the Port 88 Bazaar last saturday and tried my best to not buy anything not on my shopping list. But I saw rings everywhere!! I just had to buy a few! I ended up with these:

Hay. Bitin pa rin ako with those. I wish I bought that turquoise blue ring. :( Anyway, I've also bought a couple of shoes for the past 2-3 weeks.

Two are thrifted, the other preloved and bought online, two are brand new. The white/taupe oxfords are from Ichigo shoes and its one of their new styles. I got it from Port88 as well. The gray patent brogues are from Cole Vintage. I'm happy that some of the shoes on my wishlist is getting crossed out. I still need a red pair, a blue pair, and a yellow one. Hehe.

Oh the things I collect! I'll be bankrupt with the things I buy. :(
